A Week in the life

Mission Week: A Whirlwind of Spanish Smiles & Brownie Dreams!

Sunday

Terrassa Ward! New 3-story church building! Real pews! Real carpet! (Luxury!) and Real church of Jesus Christ!

Post-Sunday’s, the Young Adults very own "gathering space” is our new favorite hangout: couches, TV, and fuseball! (and the Kitchen!). Saturday’s there is a mini-army of kids storming the parking lot for epic fútbol battles. Park on the side:)

Monday

P-day adventures! We're tagging along with the Tarrassa sisters—road trip! (See travel section, wink wink). Then, FHE! Think sing-alongs, the spirit, gospel lessons, and games—plus, the mission couple's legendary brownie bounty (apparently, they're a Spanish unicorn!).

Tuesday

Mission-wide Zoom! (Everyone's favorite, right?). Then, Barcelona bound! We're helping the amazing Larossas shop for the Institute's hungry multitude (120+). A prayer and Google maps to navigate the roads! Off to Macro's, our new supermarket adventure.

Wednesday

Terrassa Institute! Look at all those YA! They are awesome!! Growing spiritually and socially! Cooking for 50 challenge accepted: Bolognese and bowties for the masses! We even got super-helpful Gabriel cooking this week! Post-dinner, we're cleaning until late—the last few YA enjoy each other hanging out!

Thursday

A Terrassa walk about and Apartment day! Laundry, planning, and cleaning—so much to explore and do! (Wish us luck!).

Friday

To Barcelona for their Institute! Dave teaches in English, Hermano Rodriguez in Spanish—it's a language and Siritual feast! Then, dinner for 120+ insatiable young adults! Their hangout space is epic: billiards, ping pong, fuseball! It's a late one!

Saturday

Get ready for Conference! (To be determined! Adventure awaits!). We are so blessed to listen to the words of the Lord come forth from a living fountain.
