The Book of Mormon is True.
I just finished reading the Book of Mormon. I don’t’ know what number time that is, but I do know that it is still true! I love praying when I finish the Book of Mormon and telling Heavenly Father how thankful I am for the gift I receive when reading the book of mormon
I have felt the love of Heavenly Father in the preservation of these records so that we now might have the opportunity to know how he has shown His love to His children through all of time. That love is felt personal to me when I read the Book of Mormon. I am literally a daughter of God and He has sent His son, my Savior to bring me back to Him.
This love from our Heavenly Father is given in the visit from our Savior to the Nephites. The Beloved Savior took time with individuals and with children. He prayed to the Father for them. He will also be our mediator and talk to the Father for us. We know that he loves everyone and the Savior went to visit “the other sheep” so that they too might be blessed and feel of His love.
I also felt this time of the great blessing I have been given to be able to know and study and ponder on the teachings of the Savior , that I might know how to become more like Him and to return to the presence of my Heavenly Father.
“Pray unto the Father with all the energy of heart, that ye may be filled with this love, which he hath bestowed upon all who are true followers of his Son, Jesus Christ; that ye may become the sons [and daughters] of God; that when he shall appear we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is” (Moroni 7:48).
I am praying to Heavenly Father to be filled with that love for others and to be able to serve the Savior in His work.
